Tom is Regional Manager for the North East and a Crowd Management and Event Security professional with over 20 years’ experience in arena and stadium operations. He oversees Showsec’s services across Leeds, Sheffield, Newcastle, Yorkshire, and the Scottish Highlands and serves as Account Manager for Legends Global, covering venues including AO Arena, First Direct Arena, Utilita Arena Sheffield, Connexin Live, Utilita Arena Newcastle, and P&J Live. He has extensive experience in planning, operational delivery, consultancy, and project management for high-profile arena events. His background includes Head of Venue Security Operations for major UK arena and stadium tours for artists such as The Rolling Stones, Take That, Eagles, Bon Jovi, Beyoncé, and Rihanna, and he has also supported venue advance and close protection for Adele. Tom is pursuing a PhD in Crowd Psychology and holds an MSc in Management and Strategy with Chartered Management Institute accreditation, alongside qualifications in Crowd Management, Forensic Science, and Archaeology. He is also accredited to deliver foundation degree-level Crowd Management training."
