Paul Williams has been part of The O2 security team since 2014 and was made Director of Safety, Security and Risk in 2022. Drawing from more than two decades of experience in the security industry, Paul's expertise contributes to The O2’s industry-leading safety record for the 9 million guests visiting each year.

Paul began his career in the Armed Forces as an EOD operator supporting police and defence operations in the UK and overseas. His subsequent roles have included leading security operations in aviation and retail, preparing security forces in the Middle East to protect national infrastructure, and as a Public Safety Manager for a UK local authority.

Paul is an advisory council member for the International Security Expo and a board member on the NaCTSO Counter Terrorism Business Information Exchange.
