George R. Vaughan is currently Technology Director for the Bristol Brabazon project, leading on the tech development for what aims to be one of the UK’s newest, most sustainable and technologically advanced smart cities.
In addition to his role at YTL, Vaughan has held several senior positions in major sports and entertainment venues, leading large-scale tech transformation projects for Twickenham Stadium, where his work contributed to Twickenham winning seven industry awards and Ascot Racecourse, where he orchestrated the implementation of a "smart city" vision, through multiple, groundbreaking initiatives.
He is also the CEO and Future Vision Strategist of The Digital Line (TDL), a company he co-founded in 2017 to drive innovation across hospitality, healthcare, education, retail and entertainment.
Finally, Vaughan is deeply involved in promoting equality in the tech industry, actively supporting WIMENA, an initiative advocating for the representation of women in leadership roles. He is also an ambassador for the Cosmic Girls charity, which is aiming to help more young girls and women achieve careers in space travel.
